Tan Statement Jacket

Coat: Andrew Marc | Shirt: Krammer & Stoudt | Pants: Zara
Watch: Caravelle NY | Hat: Topman

One of my favorite parts of fall is layering. I’ve been collecting jackets and coats for years. When the temperatures drop I get excited to break out statement pieces I’ve gathered from year to year. I got this Andrew Marc jacket last winter and was excited to wear it. The color went so well with the romantic lighting in Rittenhouse Park. The rest of this look is neutral to compliment the simple yet captivating hue of the leather. Do you have a favorite fall jacket?

Summer Dinner Outfit

Shirt: Uniqlo | Blazer: Zara | Shorts: Peacebird | Shoes: GH Bass
Watch: Gucci | Bracelet: Wear We Went x False Reality | Sunglasses: Gotti

One of my favorite parts about summer is putting on a casual cool outfit and heading to a new restaurant with friends. This outfit is lightweight for warm summer nights! The blazer is one of my staples pieces. I bought it last summer at Zara because the mesh material makes it easy to dress up a summer look without adding thick materials eventually leading to sweat! It also travels VERY well. Sometimes in a pinch the blazer gets jammed into my bag and thankfully resists wrinkling. Phew! I also have on my new favorite bracelet from False Reality. Mollie and I worked on this design for our Wear We Went event at The JIMMY Chicago in June.
What do you think? Would you wear this look?

Like A Forest

One of my favorite parts about exploring a city is discovering art. Planned sculptures, pop-up gardens and painted walls – there are many cheerful sights often tucked away amongst a chaotic city. Briana and I found this wall on our way to Sancho Pistola’s for some grilled corn and pickled watermelon margaritas (highly recommend those…).  We were both like “WOOH! That will look great with the Teva x National Forest sandals.” What do you think? The patterns complimented the multicolor wall like modern day camouflage, in a forest.

When will this snow ever end? As I sit here writing this post I’m in Buffalo visiting my friend Mollie and it’s SNOWING LIKE CRAZY. Okay, okay – I know I’m in Buffalo, but it is technically spring now and I want warm weather! Not asking for 70 degrees at this point, but weather suitable for this lightweight Han Kjobenhavn trench. I kept this look warm with the Ortiz Industry windbreaker (which I love for the metallic sheen). I was feeling adventurous (like normal ;D) during my shoot with Tim and decided to add silver sunglasses from Beijing and insert pennies into my loafers. He said I look like a futuristic Dr. Who. What do you think? Does this look channel the British Who?

Art for All

Sweater: DKNY | Blazer: Zara | Pants: Levi’s | Bag: Pijama | Sunglasses: Woodzee | Watch: Breda

Earlier this month I stopped by the James Hotel to see the 6th Ave facing public art display by Brooklyn artist Paul Wackers for #JamesPublicArt. And it proved to be a great backdrop for my outfit. I like how the pijama folio bag ended up matching the bright blue and yellow section! If you’re downtown NYC anytime soon I recommend stopping by to see this art wall and if there are any new installations at the James! There was also a nice portrait series inside the David Burke Kitchen, which is where I stopped for a coffee. I’ve been carrying folio bags lately because they’re so easy to store my wallet, lip balm, phone charger and other daily necessities without lugging a big messenger bag around. The Pijama bag I got from East Dane is really fantastic – I just bought it in another color ;)
