Tan Statement Jacket

Coat: Andrew Marc | Shirt: Krammer & Stoudt | Pants: Zara
Watch: Caravelle NY | Hat: Topman

One of my favorite parts of fall is layering. I’ve been collecting jackets and coats for years. When the temperatures drop I get excited to break out statement pieces I’ve gathered from year to year. I got this Andrew Marc jacket last winter and was excited to wear it. The color went so well with the romantic lighting in Rittenhouse Park. The rest of this look is neutral to compliment the simple yet captivating hue of the leather. Do you have a favorite fall jacket?

Camo Fishtail Parka

I have to admit I’m obsessing over my new camo parka it makes me feel super cool (and look super cool too…). When wearing it the easy fit, orange lining, fishtail back and hanging pull strings all add to the bad a$$ feel. I paired it with a printed shirt from the same designer, Realm & Empire, well-worn jeans, comfy boots and my new top-knot hairstyle. Do you have a favorite spring jacket?

Debonair in The Den, HYATT Herald Square

The Den was my favorite at HYATT Herald Square during my fashion week stay. Immediately when walking into the hotel to check in those rainbow books caught my eye and I knew I had to wear this metallic Burberry Prorsum jardigan (jacket x cardigan). I think it’s a cardigan, but everyone kept saying, “Love your jacket!” But enough about the jardigan… the hotel was designed by Paul Vega who studied Herald Square’s publishing history and fashion influences and then infused those influences everywhere – high pops of color, letter press blocks, custom fabrics – the whole nine yards! In The Den, which is next to where you check in, guests can enjoy cocktails, bites and the colorful surrounding.

While I stayed at the hotel I updated the Instagram with some favorite snaps at shows, around town and in the hotel. Kris caught me taking a break from our shoot to update @hyatths. Did you have any favorite moments from fashion week/month?

NYFW with HYATT Herald Square

I’ve said this multiple times this year, but WOW does time go fast! I can’t believe NYFW was almost a month ago. I had such a great time staying at HYATT Herald Square and decided to do a few shoots there and I’ll be sharing the rest of the looks over the next week. First up is my “I’m here” look. I arrived cozy in this Benjamin Franklin graphic sweater by Fabrice Tardieu. It’s very soft.

Some of my favorite parts from the king bed room were the sparkly light next to the bed, the cool fabric on the couch and the welcoming note/fruit. After checking in I had to prepare for a show (that look will come soon), but that didn’t stop me from enjoying some of the strawberries on the desk and taking a cat nap on the super plush bed. Ahhhh :)

Chelsea

Shirt: JUMA | Pants: Katin | Jacket: Shipley & Halmos | Bag: Steven Alan | Shoes: Tsubo | Watch: Breda

I really can’t believe how FAST this year is going already. The last few weeks since being back from China flew by! New York Fashion Week is happening and I decided to meet Kris at Chelsea Market for a little shoot before heading to the Duckie Brown show. The purple coloring at the water fountain was SICK next to this off-white and blue look. With all the running around (China, NYFW, prepping for a project in March ;D), I definitely didn’t have time to even think about Valentine’s Day plans. Eeek! Thankfully I was able to partake in the annual love holiday early – BEFORE FASHION WEEK – by taking my producer to a Flyer’s game. They have some special promotions happening now like the Valentine’s Pack (which is what Sheryl and I decided on) that includes a wine tasting from Chaddsford Winery. We’re looking forward to going to the wine tasting next month! Even though Vday has past there are games in the coming weeks tickets are available for that special promotion.

There seems to be a trend. On game day we wore black with a pop of orange. Did you see my Instagram? And at fashion week – Son Jung Wan’s show had some amazing orange pieces for Fall. Orange: the new black!? ;)
