I hope everyone is doing well! Today I’m posting images from my trip to Toronto with Mollie and our friend Rebecca. We did a lot of shopping – Holt Renfrew Men, Eaton Centre and of course The Distillery. The Distillery Historic District has been around since 1832 and boasts some amazing retail and eateries set amongst brick streets. We stopped in a few boutiques and bought small gifts, but my favorite places were for dinner and
dessert DRINKS. We had a delicious dinner at El Catrin, which is where the first photo was shot (outside the restaurant). The tacos pollo con mole were phenomenal. We also tasted a few sakes at the Ontario Spring Water Sake Company (and then I bought a few bottles to bring home…). It was my first time in Toronto and I look forward to going back and exploring other areas in the city. Thanks to my friend Chris for the photos!!

I sense change. 2015 is going to bring a whole lot of life change. If you follow me on social media you may have read THAT I’M GOING TO CHINA IN JANUARY. I’m super excited to see a new culture, interact with Beijing locals and shoot a very special project (more details about that later).
Change – changes in life’s day-to-day that is – seems to freak a lot of people out. Over the past few years I’ve loved embracing change whether a change in morning routine, job/internship or toothpaste (a small change). Although I’ve embraced these changes in life to keep my day-to-day “routine” fresh, I’ve craved MAJOR change lately — that’s when I bought a plane ticket to China. I’m visiting my friend in Beijing just in time because IanMichaelCrumm.com is evolving over the coming months. I can’t wait to share details about my mystery Beijing shoot…
Enough about Beijing – I’m not in China yet! However, winter holidays are fast approaching. Here are other things I’m changing up to stay upbeat in the bone chilly weather. BURRR.
-Darker sunglasses –> an orange Gotti frame shown in the pictures above.
-Orange Listerine –> a fresh minty mouth wash
-Sugar bubble gum pop music –> Andrea Bochelli Greatest Hits
-Starbucks vanilla lattes in the evening –> vanilla steamers (all that caffeine…)
The want for more and more change – you’re growing on me.
