One thing about watches is there is normally something you need to do in order to keep then running aka buy new batteries, wind them, etc. But what if you didn’t have to do any of those things?! What if your watch never died? Well… Seiko recently launched the Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch and it’s powered by all sorts of light! Sunlight, light bulbs, the list of light sources could keep going here… Basically if you wear the watch anywhere that is not a completely pitch black cave, then it’s going to stay charged indefinitely. WOOOH! I’ve enjoyed wearing the watch since Seiko sent it over. It’s light weight, the rubber strap is comfortable and the timing is immaculately precise. Once a day when fully charged, Seiko Astron receives the time signal automatically and, on demand, connects to four or more satellites that orbit the earth and pinpoints its position, thus identifying your time zone. SAAAWEEET! There’s also a perpetual calendar that is accurate up to February 2100. Here the watch is styled with two different looks. The orange wall from the first look pulls out the awesome orange detailing in the watch – mixed with bright orange sunnies. I played up the luxe feel of the sleek black band by pairing next to a black jacket with a fur collar. Have ideas on how to style this watch? Let me know in the comments! I’m excited to keep wearing it throughout the fall! A great color combination for this quickly becoming brisk season!
