designer CuteCircuit: Social media clothing

A London based fashion label, CuteCitcuit, is the first to use LED lights in couture clothing. This brand has made an impact on the fashion industry by integrating social platforms into its clothing. A Twitter integrated dress was worn on the red carpet. Fans were able to send tweets to Nicole Scherzinger as she walked and conducted interviews. This is a new way for fans to interact with celebrities. Some of the clothes, like a basic white tshirt, have a photo upload feature. Users can take photos with either the shirt or their cell phones and display them as a graphic on their bodies. Social media is the new fashion! Here are a few images..

This video details how the clothing works.

Valentino or Burberry: Battle of the Trenches

Spring campaigns are everywhere. Valentino and Burberry ads feature strong trench coats. Studs vs. metallic. Who wins?

Would you wear either of these trends?

designer Missoni: Where is Vittorio?

With the news that Vittorio Missoni went missing on a small plane in Venezuela, I thought it was fitting to post about the iconic fashion house. Here are a few images from Missoni’s pre-fall 2013 collection.

This article outlines what happened to Mr. Missoni.

Spring staples with H&M

Looking at images from the H&M spring collection, I can’t help but love these two looks.

Women: This studded skirt is simple in shape with studs. Juxtaposed with a sheer shirt in this picture depicts a flirty rocker chick or an edgy bohemian girl.

Men: A bold suit is essential for spring. H&M shows a green version that is sure to draw attention. Keep the look casual as H&M styled it with sneakers and a simple blue oxford or make the suit punch more by wearing a black shirt, tie, and shoes.

I’m looking forward to seeing how women receive the new collection as well as what other color suits might pop up in stores for men!
