Wandering in Williamsburg // Green + White for Spring

One of the hardest things I deal with each season is trying to NOT wear next season’s garb early. When it starts to get nice outside I’m ready to ditch my jacket, throw on a pair of shorts and get some vitamin d (while wearing sunscreen of course!). Yesterday the weather in Williamsburg was BEAUTIFUL. It felt like summer and this jacket was actually too much for the climbing temperatures. I ended up wearing it around my waist until golden hour.

Newsflash that no white before memorial day and after labor day does not apply. If the weather goes above 70 degrees there is a high chance I’m going to pull out the white jeans. I put together some of the items I wore for this look in the widget below as well as similar pieces. Happy shopping. ;)

How To Style A Blue Puffer Coat

All blue puffer jackets are not created equal. This one is from a recent Lacoste collection and I love wearing it because it form fitting while still giving that somewhat rounded PUFFER look. Here I paired it with army green pants and a pair of mint PF Flyers. This photo doesn’t show off the hue too well as it’s very subtle and more noticeable up-close in person. A pair of white sneakers will work with this look as well, which is why I linked them in the widget below. Sorry if you are on the edge of your seat for the mint pair… they are from a couple years ago! But enough about the shoes… back to the jacket. I paired it with the green pants to keep this look casual and not look forced. Black pants or gray pants run the risk of making the jacket look too casual or out of place. The leather high top sneakers make the whole outfit feel pulled together as opposed to a traditional athletic sneaker that would make this feel more casual.

Have you worn a blue puffer coat before? If not…. would you?

Serving #BEAUTIFULTENNIS in Miami

What a year it’s been already! I meant to post these recap images two weeks ago, but…. time got away from me with traveling for work. Huge thank you to the Lacoste team for having me to the Miami Open at the end of March. You might remember posts about the Miami Open last year. Lacoste is the official apparel outfitter for the tennis competition.
The image above was shot by Ryan Clark of High Fashion Living and of course I’m wearing head to toe Lacoste.

A view from the Lacoste private suite at the Miami Open.
It was awesome watching the Nadal vs Federer match!

The next Federer? HA! Not.

Our group participated in a group tennis clinic. At last year’s clinic I was ON! This year I did ok. However… I definitely can use some more lessons and practice on the court. Any tennis buddies out there want to play? :)

Thank you again to team Lacoste (hey Ally, Melissa, Layne, and Colby) for having me. The weekend was insanely fun. I enjoyed meeting all of the other content creators and writers on the trip.

Beautiful Tennis in Miami with Lacoste

Lacoste invited me to a weekend getaway to experience #BeautifulTennis during the Miami Open. The brand is the official apparel outfitter for the tennis competition. Upon arriving at The Gale in South Beach on Friday, I switched from my travel suit to sun ready attire. Above is a shot from my room’s balcony.

Two limited edition shoes launched over the weekend – a collaboration between Lacoste and Clyde Edwards from Addict Miami. The white sneaker is an updated take on the 30 year old Dash model. A more limited run of 50 tennis ball colored sneakers also released during the weekend. The sneakers are currently available at Addict Miami.

On Saturday we stopped by Turnberry Isle for a tennis clinic. It’s been awhile since I’ve played tennis, but thankfully it was like riding a bike. A few mishits here and it wasn’t long before the instructor started complimenting my form. #SCORE! Proud me asked to pose by the Lacoste sign post training.

Later that evening we went to Soho Beach House for a private dinner. Beforehand Alexander and I caught up and took in this breathtaking view!

Sunday we went to the Lacoste’s box seating at the Miami Open. I especially loved stopping into the Moet & Chandon tent and sipping on the Ice Imperial Champagne!

Toasting to a great trip with Sydne Summer of Sydne Style

The weekend was truly magical. I enjoyed meeting new people and seeing my friends. Ever since the trip I’ve been wearing Lacoste sneakers on the regular because they’re so comfortable. Shout out to Ally, Melissa, Ali, Layne, and Colby for showing us a great time in Miami and decking us out in head-to-toe Lacoste.

Special thanks to Lisa Dengler for capturing the last two outfit shots!

Every man (and woman) needs a great scent. The summer was filled with citrus smells via Lacoste Essential. In honor of National Fragrance Day, Philadelphia Style asked me what scent I’d be wearing for spring/summer. Lacosta Essential is great because it Time Release Technology to keep you smelling fresh even while being active (aka sweating). But since we’re approaching fall it’s time to switch up my scents. Prada’s Pour Homme is amazing. I used it for my fall scent before and cannot wait to start wearing it again. The sensual amber base is surrounded by woodsy and earthy tones. A light yet strong scent as we transition into fall.
