NYFW with HYATT Herald Square

I’ve said this multiple times this year, but WOW does time go fast! I can’t believe NYFW was almost a month ago. I had such a great time staying at HYATT Herald Square and decided to do a few shoots there and I’ll be sharing the rest of the looks over the next week. First up is my “I’m here” look. I arrived cozy in this Benjamin Franklin graphic sweater by Fabrice Tardieu. It’s very soft.

Some of my favorite parts from the king bed room were the sparkly light next to the bed, the cool fabric on the couch and the welcoming note/fruit. After checking in I had to prepare for a show (that look will come soon), but that didn’t stop me from enjoying some of the strawberries on the desk and taking a cat nap on the super plush bed. Ahhhh :)

Rickety Elevator.

Shirt: c/o Goodlife | Jacket: vintage | Pants: Guess | Shoes: Aston Grey | Gloves: Wilson’s

Sometimes you just decide to pose inside an old elevator… Here I wear one of my favorite vintage blazers. I love shopping at vintage stores for outerwear. Many times I find printed frocks for great prices. Finding this jacket was no exception. The forest greens and navy blues up top are popped with bright purple pants. Dare to wear this lewq?

Against Metal Siding.

Sweater: Perry Ellis | Jacket: BR | Pants: Volcom | Shoes: c/o/ Ahnu | Gloves: BR

This empty parking lot seemed like a great place to capture my Ahnu shoes against the metal siding and cracked pavement. The muted hues of my trench, shoes and the backdrop allowed the red pants to pop. I’ve been collecting jackets/coats/blazers for a while, but recently started seeking more trenches. This one is a looser fit than my other trenches so I wore a thick sweater underneath. After all… the snow lately IS SO ANNOYING. (thankfully this was shot before the last storm). Do you collection jackets, too?

From High School.

Shirt: Robert Graham | Pants: Gap | Jacket: vintage | Socks: Asos | Belt: Martin Dingman | Shoes: Giorgio Brutini

I forget what ceremony this shirt was for, but back in high school I picked up this Robert Graham printed dress shirt to wear to an awards dinner. It’s been in my closet for awhile so I decided to bring it back into my wardrobe rotation. The coral belt brings out red tones from the dress shirt while the vintage blazer compliments the green and brown earth tones.
