Suited Up with Sports Cars

Last summer Briana and I shot this images for a menswear guide that ended up being postponed and reworked. Since my look has changed, my hair is longer and these are some gorgeous photos (thanks, Briana!) I decided to post instead of hold for the guide. Here are some of my favorite suits shot with sports cars in New York and Philadelphia.

Wearing a Calvin Klein suit standing by a vintage Mercedes in Hamptons.

Wearing a navy camo JUMA suit standing by a Camero near the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Wearing a Krammer & Stoudt suit sitting inside a white BMW in Hamptons.

DETAILS Baby

Spring is finally here! I shot this look during fashion week for one of JUMA’s new S/S15 prints. The look is perfect to showcase #myDETALS in honor of DETAILS magazine’s new social hub. Click the hashtag to see more. I paired this spring suit with sunglasses from KREWE. The blue and orange wall backdrop by Brian Alfred matched perfectly. What are you wearing this spring? Use the #myDETAILS hashtag to share your look with the DETAILS team. ;)

Chelsea

Shirt: JUMA | Pants: Katin | Jacket: Shipley & Halmos | Bag: Steven Alan | Shoes: Tsubo | Watch: Breda

I really can’t believe how FAST this year is going already. The last few weeks since being back from China flew by! New York Fashion Week is happening and I decided to meet Kris at Chelsea Market for a little shoot before heading to the Duckie Brown show. The purple coloring at the water fountain was SICK next to this off-white and blue look. With all the running around (China, NYFW, prepping for a project in March ;D), I definitely didn’t have time to even think about Valentine’s Day plans. Eeek! Thankfully I was able to partake in the annual love holiday early – BEFORE FASHION WEEK – by taking my producer to a Flyer’s game. They have some special promotions happening now like the Valentine’s Pack (which is what Sheryl and I decided on) that includes a wine tasting from Chaddsford Winery. We’re looking forward to going to the wine tasting next month! Even though Vday has past there are games in the coming weeks tickets are available for that special promotion.

There seems to be a trend. On game day we wore black with a pop of orange. Did you see my Instagram? And at fashion week – Son Jung Wan’s show had some amazing orange pieces for Fall. Orange: the new black!? ;)

Tea at Four Seasons Beijing

Tea2Tea3Tea6Tea13Tea7Tea4Tea8Tea11Tea10Tea12Tea5

Last month I had the pleasure of enjoying afternoon tea at the Four Seasons Beijing. In the center of the hotel there is a gorgeous Butterfly Wall and beneath it sits the Tea Garden. Guests can enjoy tea while waiting for spa treatments, dinner reservations or even browsing JUMA’s retail shop. JUMA is a brand that turns cultural drawings and photographs into playful and distorted prints. The brand has scarves, socks, painted leather bags, women’s clothing and, most recently, a menswear line. In honor of the new menswear line I’m wearing a blue suit paired with printed socks and a painted leather folio bag all by JUMA. The fabric is really soft! I’m excited to share another look from our collaboration in the coming weeks as well as a project with Lifestyle China. If you’re going to be in Beijing, stop in to see the JUMA store at the Four Seasons Beijing or browse/shop on the company’s eCommerce site.
