Suited Up with Sports Cars

Last summer Briana and I shot this images for a menswear guide that ended up being postponed and reworked. Since my look has changed, my hair is longer and these are some gorgeous photos (thanks, Briana!) I decided to post instead of hold for the guide. Here are some of my favorite suits shot with sports cars in New York and Philadelphia.

Wearing a Calvin Klein suit standing by a vintage Mercedes in Hamptons.

Wearing a navy camo JUMA suit standing by a Camero near the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Wearing a Krammer & Stoudt suit sitting inside a white BMW in Hamptons.

Black & White Beijing Goods

Jacket: Peacebird (from Beijing) | Zip-Up: Calvin Klein | Pants: Trendiano (from Beijing) | Socks: Ace & Everett | Shoes: JD Fisk| Sunnies: Diesel

Nǐ Hǎo! (Hello) One of my favorite parts from my trip to China was (naturally) seeing the daring style choices and shopping at the MASSIVE malls. I came across two stores I really enjoyed – Peacebird and Trendiano . They both have statement pieces, slim cuts and a great price points. Next time I’m in China I definitely will plan to go back to these stores to see what they have (I’ve included the links above, which are primarily in Mandarin…I don’t speak Mandarin unfortunately). The language barrier was interesting while in China, but thankfully Mollie knows basic Mandarin and we were able to get around just fine!

This look was shot in a vintage building by my friend Marcus post China. I styled the two Beijing finds with a black zip-up and gray shoes for a simple look that keeps the focus on the jacket. The socks reminded me of the jacket and I thought it pulled the look together without detracting from it. What do you think? Would you wear a black and white printed jacket?

NYFW with HYATT Herald Square

I’ve said this multiple times this year, but WOW does time go fast! I can’t believe NYFW was almost a month ago. I had such a great time staying at HYATT Herald Square and decided to do a few shoots there and I’ll be sharing the rest of the looks over the next week. First up is my “I’m here” look. I arrived cozy in this Benjamin Franklin graphic sweater by Fabrice Tardieu. It’s very soft.

Some of my favorite parts from the king bed room were the sparkly light next to the bed, the cool fabric on the couch and the welcoming note/fruit. After checking in I had to prepare for a show (that look will come soon), but that didn’t stop me from enjoying some of the strawberries on the desk and taking a cat nap on the super plush bed. Ahhhh :)

Shirt: Gap | Sweater: H&M | Jacket: vintage | Scarf: Calvin Klein | Gloves: Banana Republic

Sunnies: c/o Götti Switzerland | Hat: Lake of Isles | Folio: Harvey

As the sun fell behind the skyline, Suni snapped a few pictures of this outfit. The muted color palette of black, brown, burgundy and blue is punched up with a yellow pair of Götti sunnies. After the sun went down, the 360degree spin & stow design allowed me to easily fold and store the frames in my folio.
