Mondrian Soho Rooftop

NYFW can be exhausting. It’s Sunday and I’m responding to emails, working on show reports from the past few days and getting ready to head out for more shows/presentations. I wore this look to an event at the Mondrian Soho rooftop. Since I’m heading out I’ll make the description short. I wore a Marc by Marc Jacobs “vintage” shirt, navy pants, textured ALDO sunnies, an amazing CT Scuderia watch, LAGOS bracelet, Ace & Everett socks (I ran into co-owner Sage at the Grungy Gentleman presentation later), J.D. Fisk black leather shoes, and my red croc embossed briefcase. What do you think? I kept this look simple in color palette and played with mixing prints and adding focus with a statement watch and bag.

Miley On The Loose

Shirt: Marc Jacobs | Jeans: 7 For All Mankind | Sandals: c/o/ Ahnu | Sunnies: Aldo

Miley sure has experienced (ehem, created) a crazy career the past year or so. Aside from pop divas Bae and GaGa, she’s one of the best media generators in Hollywood. I love her collaboration with Marc Jacobs for that reason. If standing on stage half-naked all the time isn’t enough – why not pose completely naked on a t-shirt? Done and done. I got this shirt a while ago during a NYC trip and posted about it here. Decided to break it out again for a trip to NoLibs. MILEY IS ON THE LOOSE. Also side note: the sandals came in a box with a tag that had a Xed out socks with sandals caricature. So I ask myself, “WWMD, What would Miley do?” She’d probably tear the tag up and toss the shoes. I took half her advice since I’m still wearing the shoes ;) but with socks muahahah

Roomie Beach Trip Part 2

Shirt: Mossimo | Shorts: Gap | Shoes: Sperry | Hat: Gap | Sunnies: Aldo

When Lauren and I went to Cape May the other week we stopped on the street to snap my other outfit (wasn’t going to wear those swim trunks walking around!) It was a simple, yet colorful, look since we were at the beach. This year I’ve worn a lot of mirrored sunnies and plan to keep doing so. :) What are you wearing this summer? Do you like the mirrored sunnies look?

Multiblue

Shirt: Gap | Shorts: Banana Republic | Shoes: GBX | Sunnies: Aldo

IDK why when I woke up yesterday I decided to wear all blue. It seemed simple and easy on the eyes. The night before (this past Saturday) I decided to wear all black for the Cezanne opening at The Barnes and a night at Stratus Rooftop. Perhaps the (not typical Ian) black outfit inspired a colored version the next day. Either way when my roommate and I left to run some errands… we spotted this blue door that was perfect for this blue on blue on blue (with a slight accent of white, orange and gray) outfit. Then we made tacos. YUM.

And no the title isn’t after the clematis multi blue flower. OK, thanks.

Heat Wave

Shirt: c/o/ Fairwear | Shorts: Levi’s | Belt: UO | Shoes: Cole Haan | Sunnies: Aldo

It’s so f#%^^king hot lately. I almost didn’t wear this outfit to go meet my friend for a drink, but then realized the sun was almost gone and wore it anyway. Tomorrow it’s supposed to get up to 100. GAHHHHH. Legs for days. Shorts for days. (Hopefully not) sweating for days. I’ve had this multicolored beaded belt for a while now – don’t wear it that often, but it goes with a lot of outfits since it has so many colors. Easy to compliment hues. Until next post… IMC
