Oxy Recharge Bubble Mask / Grooming Game Changer

Looking for a product to jumpstart your skin in the morning? Cleanse the skin from a long day of sweating in the heat? This product may just be the one for you! Was that a cheesy intro or what… Introducing Skin Inc’s Oxy-Recharge Bubble Mask. This mask is great for brightening skin, deep cleansing in between facial hair, and feeling alert in the morning. I’ve been using the product every couple days for the last two weeks and can’t get enough of it!

Step 1: Apply a thick layer of the mask all over the face avoiding the eyes and mouth. Note the formula is gel-like and dissipates fast from body heat so be careful not to rush to slap it on your face and have it fall on the floor.

Step 2: Let the mask sit for 20-30 seconds (that is the recommended time, but I leave on for about a minute).

Step 3: Watch the bubbles form! Then rub in circular motions. If your skin has dead cells like mine did then you will notice small clumps forming. That is the dead skin, surface oils, dirt and pollutants slothing off your face.

Pro Tip: Pull the bubbles through facial hair and let them sit for 30 seconds longer. It’s so easy for dirt to build up underneath even the shortest facial hair. This mask is a great power cleaner for stubborn crud.

Step 4: Rinse with cold water and continue with the rest of your skincare routine!

Use: Every 2-3 days

Video of Ian During Microneeding at Cross Medical Group

I keep hearing people talk about getting microneedling to improve skin texture and firmness so I decided to give it a try! Overall I love my skin and am fortunate that overall it is pretty cooperative. I decided to have this treatment to help with acne scars on my cheeks in hopes that I can go completely makeup-less in photoshoots. Also since I have been a little kid I have loved skincare so trying this treatment was a real treat and measure in skin maintenance. Big thanks to Ledia at Cross Medical Group for taking care of me and making sure I was comfortable during the treatment. This was my second treatment and I will be going back for two more treatments to see additional results. So far my skin is much firmer, pores appear smaller and the overall texture is smoothed.

New Year New York

Wearing a Andrew Marc coat and Hershel backpack in NYC.

Every NYE I sit down and reflect on the year. After making a list of the year’s top accomplishments today, I am beyond pleased and thankful for all of the support from my readers. This year was a dream come true, over and over again! From kicking off 2015 by taking a flight to Beijing to visit one of my best friends (that’s you – Mollie Snyder!) for a project with LifeStyle China to producing the second Shop Like A Local Retail & Style Guide with Kimpton Hotels to launching WearWeWent.com, leading to more travel with Mollie, so many memories were created. I am looking forward to a few new projects in the pipeline for 2016 and a pretty major announcement in March. Until next year… be safe, don’t drink and drive and hopefully you will be dancing tonight like me!

Cheers, IMC

Low-key Look

Shirt: Target | Jeans: G-Star RAW | Sneakers: Brooks | Watch: Breda | Bag: Jack Spade

This summer is flying by! There have been so many projects I can barely sit down for a drink. Last week Briana and I had a photo shoot at the Loews Philadelphia for promotional images for an event in October. This is my behind-the-scenes stylist look. Aside from starting to run for exercise, I’ve been wearing sneakers lately. This pair from Brooks is SOOO comfortable and convenient for city errands. Do you have a favorite pair of sneakers? Hopefully your summer is productive and relaxing at the same time!
