On the Road with Allen / TM1985

And I’m off! Hello to the holiday season, hello to spending time with family, and HELLO to fantastic gifts. Tis the season for shopping and I’m very excited to partner with TM1985 in Brooklyn for a Black (Leather) Friday event. Over the past month I’ve been carrying the brand’s Allen bag around for photo shoots and business travels. It’s immaculately crafted. As you can see in the image below. Well, helllllo gorgeous. It’s one of those bags that you gift (becuase you’re the best gift giver) and then realize…. wait, I need a second one for myself!

THANKFULLY (get the pun… tomorrow is Thanksgiving… ha) – TM1985 is offering a buy one get one on the Allen bag for guests during our holiday styling party. Details are below! I will be on site at the store sharing my favorite gifts and probably taking more photos with my Allen bag. ;D

Friday, November 25th 12-6PM

It’s Cold so I’m Packing for the Beach

Since I’m already planning my next beach trip I wanted to share some of my beach essentials. Here are the things I took to the beach this summer and will be taking on my next tropical getaway.

L’Occitane Facial Mist: It’s so easy to feel overheated and sticky on the beach. This mist wakes the face up with a light fragrance and skin soothing properties. I store it in my day bag for the beach, the city or anywhere else I might go. It’s a DAILY essential.
Use as needed.

DITTO #EndlessEyewear: With a monthly $24 subscription you can have #EndlessEyewear. It’s like Netflix for your face. Order a pair, keep as long as you’d like and when you’re ready to get a new pair DITTO will ship the new pair and a return label to send the other pair back. It’s really great for those of us who like to mix up our looks frequently. Use code “IANCRUMM” for a complimentary month subscription.
Swap sunglasses as desired.

diptyque Roll-on Fragrance: This Philosykos roll on fragrance has notes of fig leaves, wood and white cedar. While not the citrusy scent often associated with summer or tropical climates, I think the earth notes hold up well for a day in the sun.
Roll on as needed.

Meister Watch Guy

Lately some of my friends have commented on my array of super cool watches. From fabric straps to crystal faces, I’d say my collection has expanded significantly over the past year. One watch in particular I’ve been wearing a lot is the MSTR Aviator polished silver with the croc band. It’s sleek and simple. I like how the face has an almost mother of pearl appearance and the croc embossing really adds an elevated touch to the piece. I wore it for a Wear We Went photo shoot at the Radisson Blu Warwick earlier this summer and can’t seem to get enough. Shop all MSTR styles on the brand’s website. The Ambassador in rose gold/brown croc is nice as well.

Necessity | Seiko Astron

I wore the Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #AstronElite#AstronElite #AstronElite#AstronElite#AstronElite

One thing about watches is there is normally something you need to do in order to keep then running aka buy new batteries, wind them, etc. But what if you didn’t have to do any of those things?! What if your watch never died? Well… Seiko recently launched the Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch and it’s powered by all sorts of light! Sunlight, light bulbs, the list of light sources could keep going here… Basically if you wear the watch anywhere that is not a completely pitch black cave, then it’s going to stay charged indefinitely. WOOOH! I’ve enjoyed wearing the watch since Seiko sent it over. It’s light weight, the rubber strap is comfortable and the timing is immaculately precise. Once a day when fully charged, Seiko Astron receives the time signal automatically and, on demand, connects to four or more satellites that orbit the earth and pinpoints its position, thus identifying your time zone. SAAAWEEET! There’s also a perpetual calendar that is accurate up to February 2100. Here the watch is styled with two different looks. The orange wall from the first look pulls out the awesome orange detailing in the watch – mixed with bright orange sunnies. I played up the luxe feel of the sleek black band by pairing next to a black jacket with a fur collar. Have ideas on how to style this watch? Let me know in the comments! I’m excited to keep wearing it throughout the fall! A great color combination for this quickly becoming brisk season!

The Bag | NOMAD

Wishing for a new city travel bag? One that’s compact and lightweight? TAD DAHHH here’s the NOMAD bag. Tess Johnson launched them on Kickstarter (campaign is live) and friends I have to say I love it! There are a lot of features that I haven’t even tested out yet (OPPS), but I’m looking forward to storing my laptop in the handy dandy laptop pocket. The zipper access on the side is great – can swing the bag around and keep on one shoulder without having to open the top. There are also pockets on the strap handy for cell phones, metro cards and the like. See all of the details on Tess’ Kickstarter and preorder via her campaign. :) I picked all black, however there are tons of colors.

For the traveler… bags are lined with world/globe printed nylon. Oh and the drifter pouch inside is GREAT for keys. Check, check, CHECK IT OUT.
