Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, another holiday or just feel like buying gifts for a friend, family member OR yourself, here’s a round-up of some of the things I’m loving this season. Enjoy my top gift picks! :)

BRANDS TO WATCH

Tavik: The company uses modern beach culture to define its brand. From very soft fitted cotton pants to the red villard jacket seen below, the pieces ooze casual cool. (styled with an ISAORA sweatshirt)

Brooks Heritage X UBIQ:  The Philadelphia store partnered with performance brand Brooks Running Company for a limited edition shoe (seen below). It launches this Saturday (Dec. 13th) at UBIQ in Philly and on the store’s website — my guess is this will fly run off the stock shelves. I love the multicolored sole.

LONG-LASTING UNDERGARMENTS

Mack Weldon Silver Underwear/Undershirts: Designed with NASA in mind, Mack Weldon’s new Silver collection holds up to the test. What test? Seeing if the silver prohibits smell and keeps you fresh for six days. Yes, I did wear the same pair of underwear six days in a row. No I didn’t do much physical activity while taking the Silver 6-Day Same Underwear Test. And yes, I’d do it again because they didn’t even stink after those 6 long days. Either this product works OR I smell like angels. Or both! Check it out for yourself here.

THE ACCESSORIES

Fun cuff links: Whether a top hat pair from Robert Graham (seen below) or chess pieces (seen in my Ties.com feature) – cuff links don’t have to be simple. In fact – I think they should be little shirt accessories full of personality! I’ll be sharing many more cuff link styles in 2015, but remember that 18k gold pair from 1884 Collection? Swoon…

Colored Sunglasses: Opt for a bold pair like the Gotti Switzerland frames below or go more subtle and try colored Ray-Ban club masters or traditional aviators in white or electric blue. Not into colored frames? Try tinted and mirrored lenses. All are sartorial options!

You’re Growing on Me

Shirt & Cardigan: District | Jeans: Levi’s | Sunglasses: Gotti Switzerland c/o | Watch: Seiko c/o

I sense change. 2015 is going to bring a whole lot of life change. If you follow me on social media you may have read THAT I’M GOING TO CHINA IN JANUARY. I’m super excited to see a new culture, interact with Beijing locals and shoot a very special project (more details about that later).

Change – changes in life’s day-to-day that is – seems to freak a lot of people out. Over the past few years I’ve loved embracing change whether a change in morning routine, job/internship or toothpaste (a small change). Although I’ve embraced these changes in life to keep my day-to-day “routine” fresh, I’ve craved MAJOR change lately — that’s when I bought a plane ticket to China. I’m visiting my friend in Beijing just in time because IanMichaelCrumm.com is evolving over the coming months. I can’t wait to share details about my mystery Beijing shoot…

Enough about Beijing – I’m not in China yet! However, winter holidays are fast approaching. Here are other things I’m changing up to stay upbeat in the bone chilly weather. BURRR.

-Darker sunglasses –> an orange Gotti frame shown in the pictures above.

-Orange Listerine –> a fresh minty mouth wash

-Sugar bubble gum pop music –> Andrea Bochelli Greatest Hits

-Starbucks vanilla lattes in the evening –> vanilla steamers (all that caffeine…)

The want for more and more change – you’re growing on me.

Rooftop

Ah the cold weather is finally starting to set in. Sigh. During my latest trip to Philly (for those of you that haven’t noted, I’m living in NYC), I did this rooftop shoot with Chris. A chance to appreciate the sunshine before a gray winter. I love mixing neutral colors and what better way than with fall appropriate olive pants. Ya? Ya! These Cat Footwear shoes compliment the blue hues in the “vintage” 3.1 Philip Lim for Target tee. I accessorized the outfit with 360 swivel sunnies from Gotti Switzerland, a Seiko Astron watch and a fur collar. Warm but not too warm since I was soaking up some rays on the rooftop. Today is a different story. Its cold, wet and rainy in NYC. Yuck!

How do you accessorize your outfits in the fall and winter? Do you tend to wear 1 pair of sunglasses, multiple pairs or none at all?

Sweater: Ralph Lauren | Pants: Dockers | Trench: A.P.C. | Sunnies: c/o/ Götti Switzerland | Gloves: c/o Men In Cities

What do you think of the facial hair? Since this shoot I’ve trimmed it down a bit. Some people were saying I looked too old for my age and that I should embrace my young skin. MMMM idk. Anyways I love this vintage A.P.C. trench I got on consignment. The citron lining is the best.

Pop of Citron.

Shirt: c/o/ Lele | Vest: John Paul Gaultier | Jeans: Gap | Jacket: APC | Shoes: Aston Grey | Sunnies: c/o/ Götti Switzerland

Over the holidays I bought this vintage APC trench because the lining is so cool. Sometimes when I walk it peaks out from the back slit or blows open from the wind. The citron color adds a surprise factor to my outfits. Here I’m standing in my beloved friend’s photography studio. I want to say thanks to Kris for always working with me on photo shoots. Her creative mixed with my creative is such a treat and I look forward to working with her on more projects! Doesn’t she get some great shots!?
